Zoological Society of Orissa
It was established in 1958 (registered under Societies Registration Act of Odisha, 1860:Regd. No. 2174/1180 of 1963-64), is the Society for the Zoologists of the state.
The aims and objectives of zoological society of Orissa(ZSO) is to adopt measures for the advancement, popularisation and furtherance of the cause of zoology and zoologists in the state and the country.the society is associated with the presentation, publication, and discussion of newer facts and problems in zoology throughout.
